GAME IS NOT OVER: XS Software for a consecutive year represents Bulgarian game industry at the biggest Asian game exhibition G-Star2015-01-31

In November 2014, for a second consecutive year XS Software took active part in G-STAR, South Korea’s biggest annual games conference, held in Busan. XS Software is the only Bulgarian game studio represented at the most popular Asian game show on 20-23rd of November 2014. Huge interest was expressed towards company games Rage War, Dino Jack and Lady Popular. Sustainable relations were established with Qihoo360, Gumi Inc., 6waves, Huawei, NetEase, LINE, 37.com, Chukong, Yodo1 and many more worldwide business players.

Attendance at the business side of the conference grew 66 percent this year, thanks in part to an influx of overseas exhibitors and participants. G-Star is the largest ever show with 35 countries from all over the world, 617 companies and 2,567 booths in the 10th Anniversary G-STAR’s exhibition in 2014. The BTB room for G-STAR 2014 was the largest scale ever with 1,170 booths and it occupied the entire hall on the first and third floors of the Exhibition Center II of BEXCO. The BTC room for G-STAR 2014 included about 26,000 square meters of space for this show, and with large scale participation by domestic and foreign game companies, it was the largest scale ever. At the BTC booth in Exhibition Center I, there were booths shared by startups and indie games as well as family games, where attendees could experience the startup companies’ indie games and some excellent European family games.

This year, G-STAR planned to sign an MOU on 21st with gamescom, one of the world’s top three game shows, which represented the directions and goals that G-STAR aimed to achieve as a global exhibition show not just in Asia but globally. The signing of the MOU with the gamescom did not just represent simply entering into a partnership, but also a new horizon that forecasted a grander future in which they wouldshare in the development and concerns of the global gaming industry.
